Moscow is the capital and the most populous city of Russia. It is also one of the most important political, economical and cultural centers of the world. Over time, the city has earned a variety of nicknames, most referring to its preeminent status in the nation: The Third Rome, Whitestone City, The First Throne City.

Moscow is the unique city fascinating both to Russians and foreigners. Our professional guides will show you famous historical places here considered to be a must for the city’s first time visitors. These include Moscow Kremlin with its miraculous cathedrals, the Novodevichiy Convent and famous Old Arbat street.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Moscow. Panoramic City tour. Novodevichy Monastery tour

We will meet you in the airport/railway station. Transfer to the city center. Take a panoramic sightseeing tour to explore all major historical sights of Moscow. After observing St. Basil's Cathedral, the State Historical Museum and other landmarks of the area we move along the Moskva River embankment, continue to the Cathedral of the Christ the Savior, and further to Moscow State University. Visit to the Sparrow Hills observation spot with outstanding views on Moscow city center. Then tour to the Novodevichy Convent founded in 1524 and considered now to be one of the most beautiful sights of the city. Then travel through the new and old streets and squares of the largest city in continental Europe. Lunch in one of the city restaurants featuring Russian cuisine. Check in to the hotel and overnight. Day 2: Moscow. Kremlin tour. Metro tour. Old Arbat Street tour

Tour starts with a hiking excursion to the heart of the city, the Red Square and the Kremlin. In the Kremlin visit one of the Cathedrals for an introduction to the Tsars who ruled from Moscow. Lunch in Russian cuisine restaurant.  After lunch take Moscow State Metro excursion with your local guide. It is the world’s second busiest metro in the world. Moscow metro is well-known for the ornate design of its stations built in 1930s that represent outstanding examples of socialist realism. After a metro ride enjoy a slow pace walk along the Old Arbat pedestrian street. Bargain a good deal with local artists painting right there or explore numerous souvenir kiosks where you can see yourself matryoshka dolls and ushanka fur hats. Return to your hotel. Day 3: Moscow

Free time in the morning. Transfer to airport/railway station. Included: (B).
