Tourist Train Moscow-Beijing Starts Running on August, 15

Moscow-Beijing Tourist TrainTourist train Moscow-Beijing departs from Kazanskiy railway station in Moscow for the very first time on August 15. Passengers of the train will spend two weeks having excursion program in the cities of stopovers on their way. The train is planned to arrive to Beijing on August 28-29. The passengers of the first tour are from European countries, Brazil, Mexico and 22 other countries. Only one passenger is from Russia.

Excursion program of Moscow-Beijing touritst train includes visits to Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulan-Bator and Erlang. Passengers will also enjoy a day tour at the Circum-Baikal railway and will spend a night in a yurt (nomad’s ger). The tour is organized by RZD-tour and Intourist companies.

Moscow-Beijing touritst train offers 1st class called “lyuxe” or “SV” (soft bed 2-berth compartment) and 2nd class called “kupe” in Russian (4-berth compartment). There are 4 dining cars of different types and a car with shower cabins for passengers of the 2nd class. 1st class compartments have bathrooms inside of each cabin.

During the tour from Moscow to Beijing passengers will experience national cuisine and taste local delicacies. Interpreters will accompany the train with foreign tourists throughout the whole trip.
