The Mayak (Light House) Hotel was originally opened in 2006. It is a modern 7-storey building. In 2007 annex was constructed behind the main building. Annex rooms provide the same level of comfort, but they are somewhat cheaper due to the fact that all the infrastructure is in the main building including breakfasts being served there.

The hotel stands right on Lake Baikal embankment facing the main pier of Listvyanka. Mayak is the largest hotel in Listvyanka Settlement. Its 97 guestrooms can accommodate up to 180 guests at a time. The hotel is marketed as the only conference hotel at Baikal waterside to the Russian market. It has got conference facilities for 150 people with all the modern equipment, large banquet hall, attic floor café with panoramic view of Baikal lake.
